I'm fascinated by biomimetic sound design and polytemporality in electronic music. My artistic practice is informed by an educational background in music psychology and jazz performance study. I'm focused primarily on incorporating odd-meter techniques and extended harmony into leftfield bass music. 

Lighting Design
I'm inspired most by synaesthetic relationships between sound and light, and strive to characterise this in my work. I thrive when using exploratory engineering practices and lateral thinking to solve site-specific challenges.

The debut record from southwestern multidisciplinary musician Otto Cox. The alias 'Stupid Pitch' is his first foray into electronica, offering up a concoction of leftfield bass sounds, progressive garage percussion and experimental organic sound design.

Produced alongside the study of a contemporary jazz degree in Bath, UK, the material is underpinned by a comforting command of music theory and textural arrangement. The tracklist is carefully curated to showcase the breadth and variety of countless digital explorations undertaken by the artist during this time. Angular compositions and structural robustness align in this opening statement release.
